After flying high against the Vanguard Knights on Wednesday, the Williston Red Devils came back down to earth. Williston was dealt a 65-38 defeat at the hands of Tampa Catholic on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Williston has scored all season.

Williston has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Tampa Catholic, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Williston will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Tampa Catholic will be home for the holidays to greet The Villages Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
