The Lake Fenton Blue Devils can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 73-27 victory over Fenton. The win was familiar territory for Lake Fenton who now have three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Fenton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Beardsley, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. It was the first time this season that Beardsley pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah "sj" fellenbaum, who scored 12 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Lake Fenton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Fenton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Fenton will take on the Cavaliers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Corunna is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Fenton, they and the Dragons will face off at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
