Even though the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers have not done well against the Red River Bulldogs recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Jonesboro-Hodge secured a 39-34 W over Red River. The win made it back-to-back wins for Jonesboro-Hodge.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jonesboro-Hodge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mckenzie Bradford, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Tyya Davis, who scored 11 points.
The win got Jonesboro-Hodge back to even at 2-2. As for Red River, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Jonesboro-Hodge will be playing in front of their home fans against LaSalle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Red River, they will head out on the road to face off against North DeSoto at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
