Silverton came tearing into Wednesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Central Panthers 14-4. The Foxes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Silverton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Central, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-7.
