There's no place like home for Mt. Carmel, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lawrenceville Indians with a sharp 11-1 victory on Monday. The Golden Aces might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

River Deisher was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Asher Coston was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

Mt. Carmel moved to 9-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Lawrenceville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Coming up, Mt. Carmel will face off against Centralia at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lawrenceville, they have already played their next game, a 15-4 loss against Newton on the 22nd.
