You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Walker's strategy against Live Oak on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Walker Wildcats blew the Live Oak Eagles out of the water with an 82-28 final score. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 contests by 27 points or more this season.

Walker was led to victory by Arionna Patterson and Logan Cookmeyer. Patterson went 8 for 11 on her way to 24 points in addition to eight steals and five boards, while Cookmeyer went 7 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and four steals. The matchup was Patterson's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Talayjah Goza was another key player, going 5 for 9 en route to 10 points and six rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Walker and bumps their season record up to 27-1. As for Live Oak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.
