Basketball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Trinity Collegiate

Trinity Collegiate won against Crestwood last Friday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Trinity Collegiate Titans walked away with a 64-51 win over the Northridge Polar Bears. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 20th in South Carolina, while the Polar Bears are ranked 105th in Ohio), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Northridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

When Trinity Collegiate and Northridge next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Trinity Collegiate will try to stop Wilson's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Northridge will take on Lower Richland and their nine-game winning streak at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
