Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Carnegie). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Geary Bison  a   22-0 shutout  on Tuesday. The  victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won five in a row.
 Chizm Kuykendall made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has become a key player for Carnegie: the team is undefeated when he allows at  most  three  hits, but 6-7 otherwise. Kuykendall was even better at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March.
 In other batting news, Carnegie got a  massive  performance out of  Stetson West, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2. The Wildcats are undefeated when  West posts two or  more  runs, but 4-7 otherwise.  Klayton Thompson also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 Carnegie  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .824. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Carnegie's record is now 9-7. As for Geary, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the  loss, which was their 15th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Looking ahead, Carnegie will be playing at home against Waukomis  at 11:00  a.m.  on Thursday. As for Geary, they will head out to  challenge Riverside Indian  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
