Winning is just a little bit easier when  you work as a team to  rack up seven more assists than your opponent, a fact the Corydon Central Panthers proved  on Tuesday. They strolled past North Harrison with  points to spare, taking the game  43-27. Given Corydon Central's advantage  in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings  (they are ranked 81st, while North Harrison is ranked 217th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Corydon Central's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Josie Vaughn, who  scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alyssa Groover, who  scored seven points along with six  rebounds and two  steals.
 Despite the  defeat, North Harrison had strong showings from  Grace Goldman, who  scored ten points along with eight  rebounds, and  Olivia Brown, who  scored eight points.
 Corydon Central is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for North Harrison, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-14.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corydon Central will take on Floyd Central at 2:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for North Harrison, they will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against Evansville Memorial at 1:30  p.m. Evansville Memorial will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
