A Season-Best Effort from Parker Merriman Leads Deckerville over Capac
Parker Merriman produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Deckerville to the win on Friday. Merriman rushed for 236 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (101.5) per game. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
The victory for Deckerville keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Merriman and Deckerville will be playing at home against Alcona at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

For the season, Wager has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 152.1 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 9.29 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 64.57 rushing yards.
