 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Piedmont was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 258  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 222  rushing yards in six consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile,  a  victory for Eisenhower just wasn't in the cards  on Friday as the  squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They had to suffer through a   35-7 loss at the hands of Putnam City. Having soared to a lofty 42  points in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.
 Piedmont's record now sits at 4-2. As for Eisenhower, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 2-4.
 Piedmont strolled past Eisenhower in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023 by a score of  43-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Piedmont since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
