Last Friday, everything came up roses for Owensboro Catholic at home against Edmonson County as the squad secured a 48-7 victory. The result was nothing new for Owensboro Catholic, who have now won seven matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Brady Atwell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 285 yards and five touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. Atwell is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of William "Tutt" Carrico, who picked up 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Fort Campbell was able to grind out a solid win over Todd County Central two weeks ago, taking the game 24-14.
Their wins bumped Owensboro Catholic to 8-0 and Fort Campbell to 4-3.
