Memorial lost against Waxahachie back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Faith Roulston-Aliu paced Memorial's offense, picking up 18 kills. Roulston-Aliu got some help from Addison Childers and her 22 assists. Julianna (Jules) Hernandez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Waxahachie, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Arlington on the 15th. As for Waxahachie, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Eastwood on the 15th.
