Levi Ashurst continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a triple-double on 14 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists. The match was his 15th in a row with at least ten points. Austin Adkins was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Bovina lost, one person who can't be blamed is Miguel Lopez. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Wheeler has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Bovina, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
