Softball Recap: Tunstall's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Tunstall's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Liberty Minutemen a 10-0 shutout. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

With the victory, Tunstall broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-3. As for Liberty, they dropped their record down to 4-3 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Tunstall will head out to challenge Martinsville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Liberty, they will be playing at home against Gretna at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Minutemen are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
