In what's become a running theme this season, the Lynn English Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They blew past Somerville 76-54. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-25.
Among those leading the charge was Louis Ledesma, who scored 25 points along with five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Pierre Veras, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Lynn English has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Somerville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Everett the next time they take the court. Lynn English will head out to face Everett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Somerville will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
