Maurice Turner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times he's played. Andrew Knudson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 17 rebounds and two blocks.
When it comes to explaining why Vista del Lago lost, one person who can't be blamed is Freddy Alarcon. Despite the final result, he scored 24 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Elijah Harvey, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Lakeside's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-14. As for Vista del Lago, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
