The Crested Butte Titans stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They breezed by Trinidad on the road to the tune of 61-27. The victory was familiar territory for Crested Butte who now have six in a row.
Crested Butte got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adin Kurak out in front who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Weston Miller, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Crested Butte's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Trinidad, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crested Butte will take on Ouray at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ouray will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 264th, while Crested Butte is ranked 88th). As for Trinidad, they will be playing at home against Del Norte at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Del Norte has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
