Green Hope and Apex are an even 5-5 against one another  since March of 2016, but likely not for long. Dean has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.  Ryan Luo was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Apex was able to grind out a solid  win over Athens Drive on Thursday, taking the game  6-3.
  Pat Morrisey looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (he also only allowed one  walk).
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Jay Hale, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Drew Berenyi, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3.
 The  victory  got Green Hope back to even at 9-9. As for Apex, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
 Green Hope might still be hurting after the  13-1 defeat they got from Apex  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2023. Can Green Hope avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
