DASH is 1-7 against Chatham HomeSchool since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The DASH United's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Chatham HomeSchool Thunder at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th.
Last Thursday, DASH suffered a rough 67-43 defeat at the hands of New Life Camp. DASH has struggled against New Life Camp recently, as their contest on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, DASH saw an underclassman step up: Jason Judd scored 18 points. Judd scored a full 41.9% of DASH's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Chatham HomeSchool waltzed into Saturday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 62-55 victory over New Life Camp. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Zach Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Chatham HomeSchool's points. Sam Woodard was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Their wins bumped DASH to 5-2 and New Life Camp to 4-0.
DASH took a serious blow against Chatham HomeSchool in their previous meeting back in January, falling 78-35. Will DASH have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
