High school basketball: How to watch Spalding Hoophall Classic featuring No. 1 Camden, D.J. Wagner

The Spalding Hoophall Classic is annually considered the best high school basketball showcase event in the nation. The 20th installment will be played Jan. 13-17 at Blake Arena in Springfield, Mass.

The marquee event features an abundance of elite talent as nine teams ranked in the MaxPreps Top 25 will participate, including No. 1 Camden (N.J.), No. 6 Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), No. 7 Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.), No. 9 DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.), No. 10 Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, N.Y.), No. 12 Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.), No. 13 Roselle Catholic (Roselle, N.J.), No. 16 Greensboro Day (Greensboro, N.C.) and No. 18 Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, N.Y.).

There are also expected to be 11 teams ranked in the National Top 20 participating in the loaded event as No. 1 Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, Kan.), No. 2 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), No. 3 Link Academy (Branson, Mo.), No. 4 AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Ariz.), No. 5 Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.), No. 6 La Lumiere (La Porte, Ind.), No. 8 Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.), No. 9 Prolific Prep (Napa, Calif.), No. 11 Combine Academy (Lincolnton, N.C.), No. 13 Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, Utah) and No. 17 Patrick School (Hillside, N.J.) will make the trip to Springfield.

Many of the nation's top recruits will compete at the birthplace of basketball with 27 of the Top 50 prospects in the Class of 2022 in action, including top five prospects Dereck Lively II of Westtown (No. 1), Keyonte George of IMG Academy (No. 3), Dariq Whitehead of Montverde Academy (No. 4) and Chris Livingston of Oak Hill Academy (No. 5).

Each of the top four Class of 2023 players, and 16 of the Top 50 prospects, will also compete in the event as D.J. Wagner of Camden (No. 1), Kwame Evans Jr. of Montverde Academy (No. 2), MacKenzie Mgbako of Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, N.J.) (No. 3) and Mookie Cook of AZ Compass Prep (No. 4) are among the top names to watch.

All games are being live-streamed as 17 games are featured on FloSports, seven games appear on ESPN+, four games are broadcast on ESPNU and two games shown on ESPN2. A full event schedule with streaming locations can be found here.
