Benton entered their tilt with Clarinda on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Cardinals. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Benton pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Clarinda, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Benton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against West Liberty on the 7th. As for Clarinda, they will welcome St. Albert at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
