The Kennedy Eagles will play host again and welcome the AIMS College Prep Golden Eagles, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Kennedy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-33 loss to Maria Carrillo. While losing is never fun, Kennedy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1130th, while Maria Carrillo is ranked 449th).
Meanwhile, AIMS College Prep came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 76-17 win over Invictus at home. Considering AIMS College Prep has won four contests by more than 24 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Kennedy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for AIMS College Prep, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
