Lincolnton has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Friday. They will challenge the East Lincoln Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Lincolnton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Tuesday.
Lincolnton struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Tuesday (Stuart W. Cramer was 21% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Lincolnton had to suffer through a rough 67-30 loss at the hands of Stuart W. Cramer. Lincolnton has not had much luck with Stuart W. Cramer recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Daphca Dyson, who scored 5 points along with 7 rebounds. Vanessa Cespedes was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for East Lincoln at home against Kings Mountain on Wednesday as the squad secured a 86-15 win. With East Lincoln ahead 61-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
With Lincolnton's victory and Stuart W. Cramer's loss, both teams now sport identical 1-1 records.
Lincolnton was taken down by East Lincoln 71-21 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can Lincolnton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
