The Ridgevue Warhawks will head out on the road to square off against the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
While Ridgevue's victory against Capital wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warhawks had just enough and edged out the Golden Eagles 10-9 on Wednesday. Ten seems to be a good number for the Warhawks as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Chance Schreiber was excellent, going 1-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Zach Forster also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Golden Eagles as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering the Grizzlies have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Reece Hudson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Aiden Henzler was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Trenton Forstrom, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one run.
Rocky Mountain was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.
Rocky Mountain pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ridgevue, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8-1 record this season.
Ridgevue came up short against Rocky Mountain when the teams last played back in April, falling 6-3. Can the Warhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
