After losing to the Palo Verde Titans the last time they met, the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy managed a 58-53 victory over Palo Verde on Thursday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pusch Ridge Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Hoke, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Issac Hardeman, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Palo Verde, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy on the road again on Saturday and play against Winslow at 4:30 p.m. on January 20th. As for Palo Verde, they will face off against Santa Rita at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
