The Kennedy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They took a hard 58-42 fall against Albany. Kennedy has struggled against the Cougars recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Kennedy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Martin, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayson Scarbrough, who scored 13 points.
Kennedy dropped their record down to 6-17 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Albany, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-7.
