Smackover entered their tilt with Junction City on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 9-3 margin over the Junction City Dragons. The result was nothing new for the Buckaroos, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Smackover's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Junction City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smackover will head out to square off against Monticello at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Junction City, they are taking a road trip to face off against Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Woodlawn has three straight victories, Junction City has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
