The Greenville Tigers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 75-43 loss at the hands of Russell County. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Russell County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kelston Tarver, who rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Bryson Riggins, who threw for 285 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per attempt.
Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Russell County, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.
Greenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Russell County also has no future games currently scheduled.
