The Screven County Gamecocks will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Claxton Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Screven County suffered a rough 75-53 loss at the hands of Savannah. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Screven County in their matchups with Savannah: they've now lost three in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jayden Adams, who scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. Another player making a difference was Ladarious Hopkins, who scored 9 points.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Claxton, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 48-29 loss to Metter on Tuesday.
Screven County now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Claxton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
