While Monday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Gavin Sandner. He made a major impact on Monday, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 1.3 stolen bases per game.

Sandner and St. Thomas More Academy will venture away from home to take on Thales Academy Rolesville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long.
