The Braymer Bobcats won the last time they faced the Hardin-Central Bulldogs, and things went their way on Thursday too. Braymer walked away with a 56-47 win over Hardin-Central. The win made it back-to-back wins for Braymer.
Braymer found their leader in underclassman Dakota Brandon, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. Those 16 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jordan Haley, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Braymer has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Hardin-Central, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-1.
Braymer will finish 2023 at home by hosting Liberal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hardin-Central will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Green Ridge at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Green Ridge is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
