The biggest upset of the week belonged to Norfolk Academy, who took down 218th ranked Norfolk Academy, 36-26.
Bishop Sullivan Catholic extended the longest winning streak in VISFA Tidewater this week by beating the Bulldogs, 36-26. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Crusaders.
Greenbrier Christian Academy's dynamic duo of Colby Lee and Bryce Myers proved tough for Chincoteague to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lee threw for 82 yards and three touchdowns and Myers had 71 yards receiving. Ty Smith helped Greenbrier Christian Academy's passing attack out by catching one ball for 11 yards.
David Gough was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 10 carries, he ran for 143 yards as Nansemond-Suffolk Academy bested the Ponies. Teammate Addison Peak added to the ground attack by rushing for 132 yards.
6-foot-4 quarterback Tim Burns of the Saints is the league leader in passing yards this season with 824. He has also thrown five touchdowns. On the ground, Hampton Roads Academy's Quincy Mock has rushed for 1349 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Myers. The Greenbrier Christian Academy star has 26 catches for 580 yards.
Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's Gough needs only 63 yards against Trinity Episcopal next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Gough has rushed for 937 yards on 145 carries so far this year.
