Alcester-Hudson is 2-7 against West Sioux since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Alcester-Hudson Cubs will head out on the road to face off against the West Sioux Falcons at 6:15 p.m. Alcester-Hudson will be strutting in after a victory while West Sioux will be coming in after a loss.
Last Saturday, everything came up roses for Alcester-Hudson at home against Menno as the squad secured a 60-32 victory.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to West Sioux, who are still winless after their fourth match. They were dealt a 69-18 defeat at the hands of Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute on Thursday.
Alcester-Hudson's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2. As for West Sioux, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-4.
Alcester-Hudson came out on top in a nail-biter against West Sioux in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, sneaking past 49-46. Does Alcester-Hudson have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Sioux turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
