The Boone Central Cardinals extended their postseason success on Tuesday against the Wahoo Warriors. They didn't even let the Warriors onto the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The victory was just business as usual for Boone Central, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.
PARKER BORER was his usual excellent self, rushing for 133 yards. BORER was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards.
The team's defense also helped out by holding Wahoo to a paltry 76 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Boone Central's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid the passer out four times before it was all said and done. In that department, BEN REILLY was the leader with two sacks.
Boone Central's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Wahoo, their loss dropped their record down to 12-1.
Boone Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wahoo also has no future games currently scheduled.
