There's no place like home for Edisto, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-1  victory over the Woodland Wolverines  on Friday. This was a revenge  contest for Edisto, as the team was forced to settle for  a  5-4 defeat when these two played  last Tuesday.
  Max Dempsey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Dempsey was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Hunter Judy, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Edisto has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record  this season. As for Woodland, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
 Edisto didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  7-4  win vs. Barnwell on the 24th. Woodland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
