Outreach Christian has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the El Dorado Christian Buffalos at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Outreach Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 11 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Back in December of 2023, Outreach Christian lost to Fort Scott Christian Heights on the road by a decisive 25-11 margin.
Meanwhile, El Dorado Christian strolled past Varsity Opponent with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 38-21. The win was just what El Dorado Christian needed coming off of a 53-14 defeat in their prior match.
McKenzie Cole and Breann Reasoner were among the main playmakers for El Dorado Christian as the former scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and the latter dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Cole has scored at least a third of El Dorado Christian's points. Sophia Bryson was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Outreach Christian's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for El Dorado Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.
Outreach Christian was taken down by El Dorado Christian 45-10 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Outreach Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
