The home team had won the previous four meetings between Spanish River and Boca Raton, and Spanish River kept the tradition alive. The Spanish River Sharks fell 9-4 to the Boca Raton Bobcats on Monday. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

As for Boca Raton, they will venture away from home to face off against Stoneman Douglas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Stoneman Douglas' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Boca Raton has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
