Andrew Yoby and Caden Beck were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Yoby didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Beck struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Delaware Christian is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 0-5 otherwise. At bat, Yoby went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Beck got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That RBI marked the first that Yoby has brought in this season.
In other batting news, Delaware Christian got a massive performance out of Cameron Green, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Green also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Paul Gaster, who went 1-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
