Everything went their way against St. Andrew's Episcopal as Connelly School of the Holy Child made off with a 61-35 victory. The victory was just what Connelly School of the Holy Child needed coming off of a 67-27 defeat in their prior game.
St. Andrew's Episcopal lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chloe Ferber, who scored seven points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna beth Tsai-turton, who scored nine points along with two blocks.
The victory got Connelly School of the Holy Child back to even at 10-10. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.
Connelly School of the Holy Child will be playing at home against Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Connelly School of the Holy Child is coming into the contest with four straight victories at home, meaning Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they will head out on the road to square off against Sidwell Friends at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
