The Princeton Day Panthers lost against the Solebury Spartans back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Princeton Day suffered a tough 69-49 defeat at the hands of Solebury. Princeton Day has not had much luck with Solebury recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Solebury to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyler Simpson, who scored 23 points along with five assists and four steals. The game was Simpson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joell Idrovo, who scored 18 points along with nine assists and three blocks.
Princeton Day's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Solebury, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Princeton Day will be playing in front of their home fans against Hamilton on Friday. As for Solebury, they will head out on the road to face off against Hun at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
