The Loretto Mustangs waltzed into their contest  on Friday with 15 straight wins  but they left with 16. They walked away with  a   51-44  win over Summertown. That's another feather in the cap for Loretto, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Leading Loretto to victory were  Ally Weathers and  Jenny Clifton.  Weathers  scored 17 points, while  Clifton  scored 19 points. Weathers continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sophia Weathers, who  scored eight points.
 Summertown's loss  came despite strong showings from  Karlie Campbell and  Abbie Shaffer.  Campbell  scored 12 points along with eight  rebounds, while  Shaffer  scored 13 points along with five  rebounds and two  blocks.
 Loretto's win was  their tenth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-1. As for Summertown,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 16-5.
 Loretto will head out on the road to  square off against  Lewis County at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lewis County will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 324th, while Loretto is ranked third). As for Summertown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Pleasant at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
