Calvert never let their opponents score on Saturday. They blew past the Vanlue Wildcats 11-0. The Senecas have beaten the Wildcats the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.

Gracie Miller was a standout: she scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kaleigh Concepcion, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Calvert always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Vanlue only posted an OBP of .250.

Calvert's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Calvert beat Vanlue by a score of 15-1 later that day.
