Mt. Zion put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Bethlehem Christian Academy Knights with points to spare, taking the game 20-6. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 14-13 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Knox Israel had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 165 yards and one TD while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 90 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Rashad Montgomery helped out on the ground, rushing for 104 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mt. Zion was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 306 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 182 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Mt. Zion's record now sits at 3-0. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Zion will take on Chattooga at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, they will face off against Riverside Military Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season.
