The Timpanogos Timberwolves can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 77-51 margin over Uintah. The victory was just what Timpanogos needed coming off of a 71-51 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Timpanogos to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josh Graf, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Graf continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Steven LaPray was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five steals.
Uintah's loss came despite strong showings from Dauson Gardiner and Brayden Murray. Gardiner scored 16 points along with three blocks and two steals, while Murray scored 18 points along with five rebounds.
Timpanogos' victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Uintah, they bumped their record down to 6-10 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Timpanogos will square off against Layton Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Layton Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,255 points over their last 18 contests. As for Uintah, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Payson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Payson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday.
