Several Leopards players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Campbell Cooper, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. The matchup was Cooper's third in a row with at least ten points. Cara Homer was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Taylor's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-7. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.38 points. As for La Grange, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
Taylor will finish 2023 at home by hosting Burton at 12:30 p.m. on December 28th. Burton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games. La Grange and Edna will round out the year against one another at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday at. Edna has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 183 points over their last three contests.
