Central came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Muscle Shoals Trojans 9-3. Considering the Wildcats have won 14 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Central's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Muscle Shoals, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against McNairy Central on the 4th. As for Muscle Shoals, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-7 victory against Lauderdale County on the 4th.
