The West Forsyth Titans suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 62-38 walloping at the hands of Mount Tabor. West Forsyth was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mount Tabor apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, West Forsyth had strong showings from Campbell McClain, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals, and Alexis Waters, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
West Forsyth bumped their record down to 8-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mount Tabor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Forsyth will face off against Davie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Davie focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday. As for Mount Tabor, they will head out on the road to challenge R.J. Reynolds at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. R.J. Reynolds is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
