The Pascack Valley Panthers will look to defend their home field on Friday against the West Morris Central Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. Pascack Valley will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Last Friday, Pascack Valley beat Bergenfield 21-14. Given Pascack Valley's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Bergenfield is ranked 210th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pascack Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kevin Regula, who rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Adam Shaw was another key contributor, throwing for 38 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes.
Meanwhile, West Morris Central had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-7 victory over Morristown on Friday.
Their wins bumped Pascack Valley to 6-2 and West Morris Central to 4-5.
