Rowynn McClure turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Monday. He produced his best game of the campaign: he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He also tossed two walks, which is notable because Midway is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 1-4 otherwise.

McClure's strong effort led Midway over Oakdale and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Midway has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since May of 2022, but a win here would be a good start.
